In today’s “eco-friendly” world, it seems like everyone – and everything – has a “green” story about how a product is made, what it is made from….or, more recently reclaimed from. Now, Rolf Glass has a terrific reclaimed story with its GLACIER GLASS tumblers. Rolf Glass is an American (located in Pennsylvania) cut glass studio that creates crystal and glassware with original distinctive standard or custom images to suit any menu concept or theme. Rolf Glass has dozens of standard designs, from palm trees and dragonflies to rodeo horses and Tuscan olive branches, that are all very artistically etched into their glassware. So, besides being incredibly nice people, the folks at Rolf Glass are quite artistic and creative, as well. Recently, Rolf Glass wanted to create a product that would make a difference and help spread awareness for repurposing or reclaiming. Rolf Glass designer, Paula Sansone-Johnson, combined her glass cutting skills with her manufacturing experience by using state of the art diamond-wheel engraving technology to create unique designs that completely alter the look and feel of the wine bottles. The result is a sexy re-purposed 12oz antique blue DOF or 16oz Highball! Recently the company has added a pitcher, as well. Rolf Glass also donates a percentage of all sales to help spread environmental awareness, one bottle at a time. The design itself, mixed with the blue tint of the glass, gives each piece the look of you guessed it…glacier ice. And so, the new collection was born - GLACIER GLASS. For those hotel and restaurant operators who are interested in reinforcing their brand image of being earth-friendly and environmentally sensitive, GLACIER GLASS from Rolf Glass may be the perfect glassware.

Going green can - and should - be fun! And, in a world looking for authenticity in both products and companies...... Eco-Products is the real deal.
Remember our friends at Bamboo Studio? Sure you do....these are the folks that brought us the the very cool BAMBOOWARE dinnerware products. Well, they're back at it only this time it's with their newest eco-friendly collection - HARVESTWARE. Created from biodegradable material that looks and feels like plastic, HARVESTWARE is made from plants, instead of oil-based products. Bamboo Studio's new HARVESTWARE uses renewable resources like corn, cassava, sugar cane, sugar beets, and wheat, as well as non-food plants, for its raw materials. In a landfill, HARVESTWARE is fully recyclable: micro-organizsms within the soil help the innovative product biodegrade into carbon dioxide and water, making it environmentally friendly and eco-safe.
So.....have you gotten in touch with the folks from Your Green 2 Go and received your samples of these spoons yet?
Why not? They're made from plant starch and are completely compostable as certified by the American Society for Testing and Materials (of course, you know these people, right?) This company has these and lots of other cool tableware products made from 100% natural plant material that aren't bleached to be white. All recyclable and compostable - they contain NO chemicals or plastics...only plant pulp. And , yes...they work well in foodservice as they're completely oil/liquid resistant and can be used for hot or cold foods. We just like them 'cause they look great....and they're great for our planet. Here's where you can see the entire lineup of Your Green 2 Go products and find out more: http://yourgreen2go.com/ Bamboo Studio’s line of BambooWare items are designed from the ground up to be as eco-friendly as
possible. The process begins by taking the fiber of bamboo plants five years or older and grinding it into a fine powder. Utilizing a proprietary process, they mold this material into the sturdy, long-lasting items featured in their BambooWare line. They retain all the strength and beauty of traditional plastic materials such as Melamine, but with the added benefits of sustainability -- our bowls, plates, cups and utensils are all 100% biodegradable. Each piece of the BambooWare line is FDA approved food safe and can withstand even the toughest industrial dishwashers. For the first time, BambooWare combines the eco-conscious decision to purchase dinnerware made from Earth-friendly bamboo plants with the natural desire to own dinnerware that is stylish, colorful and fun. As Bamboo Studio's Rusty Burleigh told us "It's the greatest green story ever!" Rusty just may have a point.
